Ginny Mac and her brother, Glenn, performing for the Robson Ranch Women’s Club.

The Robson Ranch Women’s Club has had a very busy month. May was kicked off with an outstanding luncheon and program performed by Ginny Mac and her brother Glen. Hailing from Fort Worth, Ginny brings an exciting and refreshing twist to all of the music she performs. Ginny is a former member of the two time Grammy award winning group Brave Combo from right here in Denton. Ginny plays the accordion and Glenn is a guitarist. They performed a program of both original and classic country music.
The Women’s Club is also busy with the various organizations which they support. The Club is working with the Denton Community Food Center on their Snack Pack Project. They have been collecting items for the snack packs which the Food Center distributes to children facing food insecurity over the summer.
A group of women from the Club traveled to Oklahoma City on a three-day trip which was organized by Dee Sico. The group had a wonderful time seeing the sights in and around Oklahoma City. More to come!
The July meeting will be held on Monday, July 6 and will feature Dixieland Jazz with Jeffrey Barns and Friends. Reservations must be made by Monday, June 29 at 8 a.m. The buffet menu will be BBQ chicken breast, coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread and peach cobbler.
If you are not currently a member and would like to learn more about our club, you can attend a luncheon as a guest, and you can also find additional information at the website rrwomensclub.org. The Robson Ranch Women’s Club is open to all women residing at Robson Ranch. It is a 501(c) corporation.
