The Women’s Club annual Holiday Market fundraiser was a tremendous success this year in part because of the support from residents at Robson Ranch. This year’s market took place at the clubhouse on October 11 where 57 vendors from North Central Texas displayed their unique products for sale. Offerings included food, adult and children’s clothing, live shrubs and plants, toys, jewelry, home décor and much more. It truly was a “one-stop-shop” for everyone on your holiday gift list.
Volunteers from the Women’s Club spent hours placing tape on the clubhouse floors as borders to accommodate each of the vendor’s booth space. Other members volunteered as vendor assistants to move equipment and set-up tables and booths. Event co-chair Anne Meyer said, “We couldn’t have done this without the volunteers!” Judy Ruggerio, event co-chair, added, “A very heartfelt thank you goes to Sally Baggott, Mary Jo Belding, Pat Bender, Barbara Cooper, Kathy Farrell, Grace Ann Gallagher, Susan Hebert, Geils Hegranes, Birdie Kasner, Barbara Leurig, Guy and Gloria McElroy, Chris Melo, Ardie Oman, Charlotte Osburn, Linda Overfield, Kathy Marrou, Linda Stuart, Jan Utzman, Barbara Warren, Bonnie West, Chris White, Ruby Wilson and LaDonna Womochel.”
The success of this event resulted in approximately $8,500 that will go to help these local charities: “Woman to Woman” and “Ann’s Haven.”
