One of the yearly highlights for the Brothers of Sigma Chi is the annual Derby Day celebration. This year, Brother Dave Deibel and Sweetheart Joni opened up their home to the Brothers for the celebration. Their home became the official Chapter House for the day! The Deibel’s had food, snacks and plenty of beverages for the festivity. Of course, mint juleps were available in addition to beer, wine, bourbon and vodka! Brothers Mick Fox and Dan Nicolet ran the betting tables with Brother Harvey Sands’ Sweetheart, Pat, pulling the winning ticket. A long shot came from the very back, last place, to steal a dramatic victory! The big winner paid $230, so Harvey, you are buying lunch at our next meeting!
