The Robson Ranch Sigma Chi brothers and their sweethearts restarted the annual Kentucky Derby Day celebration at the Wildhorse Grill after the COVID-19 shutdown. Organized by Brother Chuck Newcomer, the event was again over the top with decorations, mint juleps, mimosas, and appetizers. Brother John Humphries purchased roses for the annual singing of “The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi” and presentation of a rose to each sweetheart. The attire for the event was Kentucky Derby chic with many fancy hats worn by the sweethearts. Brothers Mick Fox and Dan Nicolet ran the friendly Kentucky Derby wagering. As everyone was watching the race, you could hear the cheering for selected horses across the Grill and Robson Ranch. A Kentucky Derby hats off to Chuck Newcomer for organizing this special event!
