Our Singles Club members’ response to our April Casino Night Party was fantastic. So much so, we contacted our vendor to arrange for additional gaming tables to accommodate everyone.
Each attendee received $1,000 in casino play money with which to gamble in a variety of classic casino games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold ‘em, and 3-Card Poker. The tables were full all night, and the happy sounds of winners filled the clubhouse.
The Singles Club provided cheese and cracker platters and a variety of cookies to munch on. Our favorite bartender Jeff Winn mixed his signature cocktail (Smoked Old Fashioned) with speed and finesse. The variety of other craft beers and cocktails was much appreciated by the attendees.
Our event planners Bobbie Witt and Jennifer Revering did a fantastic job decorating the clubhouse ballroom with colorful casino décor. Their attention to detail and careful coordination with our casino vendor allowed the rest of us to just sit back and enjoy the night. Thank you both!
Cheryl Bryson and Char Niemi volunteered to be the casino floor runners to help everyone get checked in quickly and find seats at the tables. We continued to help people keep playing by selling additional play money to exchange for chips without the players’ leaving their spot at the table. We also brought cocktails, drinks, cookies, and snacks to the players while they continued to play. And we looked cute and had fun doing it.
The room was a mix of expert and beginner players, with our friendly dealers teaching the games for those less experienced. The club provided several ways for our members to be winners, with several door prizes, including free tickets to the many concerts and dances put on by our favorite Robson Ranch clubs, including the Music Club, Dance Club, and Classic Rock Club. After cashing out their chips, prizes were awarded to our five highest winners.
Background music was provided by Mark Channels and his fabulous playlist. If you’ve ever been on the golf course with Mark, you know he’s got great music.
The feedback from our members was so good, we will be doing this event again next year. Maybe it’s time for you to consider becoming a Singles Club member.
