Table Tennis Table Donated to Fire Station 514

First responders at Fire Station 514 with the donated table tennis table.

In 2020, The Table Tennis Club purchased a table that was damaged during shipping. While the supplier replaced the damaged table, they did not require the return of the damaged table. The club’s table repair guys, Jim Doyle and Ken Brown, were able to repair the damage to the table and the club’s officers approached the Denton County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 1 with the idea of donating the repaired table to Fire Station 514 (at Harvest). While it took a while to make the donation happen, on May 23 first responders from Fire Station 514 were able to pick up the repaired table. Members assigned to the fire station are excited to have the table tennis table on which to play.

Current table tennis play session schedule times are: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon to 2:15 p.m. and Sunday from 10 to 11:45 a.m. in the gym, and Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 2:20 p.m. in the multi-purpose room.
