The RR Singles Club Vino Amante (wine lovers) has had 10 years of enjoyment. On the third Wednesday of each month we meet in a member’s home. Along with cheese or hors d’oeuvres, we sample three red and three white wines. An informative and colorful description is recited during each sample. Some of our themes have been Texas wines and regions in California, including Sonoma, Monterey, and Santa Maria. On an international theme, we enjoyed South American varietals, French wine, and organic vineyards.
To top off the evening, a delicious dinner is served. A memorable evening consisted of Argentina reds and paella followed by tres leches cake. Currently, Vino Amante has 16 members.
