The first week of our 2022 Spring Season is in the books! The week began with cold temps and high winds, which deterred some members from their matches, and ended with sunshine and warm temps. The games are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays beginning at 2 p.m. All the games are played on the artificial turf at the Wildhorse Grill patio.

Our Friends of the Family benefit was a huge success. By the end of the week, the truck was brimming with donations. Volunteers braved the weather to be at the truck to accept the donations. A few bottles of Villa Cianci wines boosted their spirits! The club sends its thanks to those volunteers and to event coordinator Mary Ann Cianci. As usual, you all stepped up and filled the truck.

Everyone playing was happy with the new and improved scoreboards. Everyone could actually see the score from both ends of the courts, even with our old eyes. They were designed and built by Bocce Club members who are also members of the RR Woodworkers. We send a special thanks to Larry Ditch, Kathy Dial, Jack Ackerman, Donna Ditch, and Rick Bidne.

Come out and watch us play!
