The hustle and bustle of the holiday rush never really ends here at the wood shop. Even though Christmas and the holidays are over and the January blahs are here, we are still working hard creating and having a blast. And some of us are even getting a head start on all of this coming year’s happenings!
Rick Bidne created another pen with wood from the family farm he inherited years ago. Rick is part of our newly organized Pen Club, formed by one of our members, Loren Christensen. Loren has trained almost everybody who now makes pens and all the other little gadgets we have for sale in the wood shop window. Most of the folks making pens use exotic wood, and their finished products are beautiful. So, the next time you need a lovely gift for someone, stop by and take a peek in our window at the beautiful, exotic creations the Pen Club is turning out.
