After a long year of social distancing, the Lockhart Drive neighbors were finally able to gather closely together in the driveway of Mark and Holly Skinner on June 3. What a difference a year makes! With double-digit growth of occupied homes and homes under construction, folks from as far away as Kansas, Illinois, and Utah and as close by as McKinney, Keller, and Cedar Hill have come together to create a fun and supportive community. Lockhart Drive has it all—retirees, working stiffs, pickleball players, photographers, tennis players, dog people, softball players, gardeners, yarn divas, divas without yarn, bridge players, and golfers among others, including our fair share of rascals and scallywags. The Lockhart Drive Thursday Night Socials occur on the first Thursday of each month.
