Wet, Cold Weather Couldn’t Dampen Partygoers’ Spirits

The Robson Ranch Third Annual Westside Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 28, showed how much our residents like parties that involve costumes and food. Around 50 residents participated in the progressive dinner party in spite of rapidly falling temperatures and a steady rain on Saturday evening.

The event started with everyone going to a happy hour home for drinks and showing off their costumes, followed by two additional sessions for heavy appetizers and capping off the evening with a dessert session and awarding prizes to the costume contest winners.

Lance and Michele Yost (Skipper and Ginger) collaborated with neighbors Eric and Britt Boston (Gilligan and Mary Ann) to win first place as the cast of Gilligan’s Island. Second place went to Brad and Sharon Schwambach as Victorian vampires. Other honorable-mention costumes were Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf, a king and queen, holy cows, witches, pirates, and, of course, cowboys.
