On Dec. 19 Women Sharing Hope sponsored an exciting Christmas Caroling event that brought together 10 teams of almost 50 carolers and visited more than 60 homes! The carolers visited people who needed a bit of cheer due to losses, illnesses, and other life challenges. We helped bring a light of hope and encouragement to all we visited, and many of the people sang along with us. We handed out candy canes with a card that told the story of how the shape and colors represented the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
After caroling, Rosey Ross hosted an Afterglow potluck party in her beautifully decorated home. The carolers shared stories on how the singing blessed those we visited and how we were also blessed. When the sun went down, we enjoyed the marvelous splendor of her outside house lights. Many thanks to all who made this event so fabulous! Women Sharing Hope exists to develop friendships, grow in faith, and share God’s love.
Christmas caroling and Treat and Treating in October have been annual events for 12 years and are sponsored by Games for Dames, which is one of the outreach programs of Women Sharing Hope. They meet the third Monday of the month from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the RR clubhouse.
If you are a new resident at Robson Ranch or just want to meet new friends, come learn some easy games. If you are interested in attending, call or text Rosey Ross at 214-906-9783 or [email protected].
