First Place Team—Quizzards
The first Trivia Night of 2026 was another success, continuing the tradition of 30 teams competing for the highest score of the evening! The Trivia Club appreciates and recognizes all the teams’ support for Trivia Night. Trivia is played by teams of 10 at each table, and there are over 20 loyal teams that regularly attend Trivia Night. While there are existing teams at each event, there is always room for individuals to buy tickets and join newly formed teams for that night.
This ended up being the most competitive Trivia Night for scores! There were two teams tied for First Place and three teams tied for Third Place. The group enjoyed more question categories, which added to the decision-making when assigning values to each answer. The first-place winning team for Feb. 19 Trivia Night was Quizzards, followed closely by Skull Crushers in second place. Smarticus took third.

Although there is plenty of competition to win, the true winners are all the players who enjoy an evening of fellowship, debating the answers, and celebrating the correct ones. It’s exciting to hear the tables react to the correct answer and then the celebrations linger on! The Trivia Club awarded nearly $2,000 in prizes to teams, individuals, and entire tables. Prizes included gift cards to the Wildhorse Grill and Visa gift cards.
Thanks to all the participants, a donation was made this evening to Foster Village DFW (Denton), one of the organizations highlighted that receives donations from these events. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to charities.
The remaining Trivia Nights for 2026 will be May 14, Aug. 20, and Nov. 19.
Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch support the Trivia Club in staffing the program. Special recognition and thanks go to Marci and Rance Malcom, whose computer skills enhance the game’s enjoyment!
