After Schoolers Field Trips

Christine Hamilton

The Robson Ranch After Schoolers’ field trips are always educational and fun!

A recent trip was to the Bayless-Selby House Museum in Denton. Members enjoyed a “high tea” in this 1898 Queen Anne-style house. Pinkies up!

Another recent trip was to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing on Blue Mound Road in Fort Worth. Billions of dollars are printed at this Texas outpost. It’s free admission (but, sorry, no free “samples”). Afterwards, we always enjoy a delicious lunch.

Soon it will be time to kick up your boots for our annual visit from the country group Whiskey Bandits! They are scheduled to perform on Friday, April 12, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. in the RR clubhouse. Tickets will go on sale the week of March 25.

We are always looking for new members who love to support teachers and staff to join us. Just drop in at our meeting on the second Friday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the clubhouse. Please come join us!
