The May 14 Trivia Night was another success, continuing the tradition of teams competing for the highest score of the evening! The Trivia Club appreciates and recognizes all the teams’ support for Trivia Night. It’s always exciting to see the joy in an evening of fellowship, debating the answers, and celebrating the correct ones.
Competition remained high again for Trivia scores! The first-place winning team for the May 14 Trivia Night was Rockers, followed closely by R First Rodeo in second place. Smarty Pants took third. The Trivia Club awarded $2,000 in prizes to teams, individuals, and entire tables. Prizes included gift cards to the Wildhorse Grill and Visa gift cards.
The Trivia Club made a major announcement at Trivia Night about a trial alternative approach to ticket sales for the next Trivia Night in August. The Club recognizes the tradition of many loyal teams arriving as early as 4 a.m. on the day of ticket sales to purchase tickets for the desired table for each Trivia Night. During the May 14 event, each team was able to request tickets to the August Trivia Night for the same table they had at this event and will be allowed to purchase tickets in advance. This will allow individuals and teams, both old and new, to purchase the remaining tickets without long waits during the scheduled 9 to 11 a.m. Clubhouse sales time.
Thanks to all the participants, a donation was made this evening to Friends of the Family (Denton), one of the organizations highlighted that receives donations from these events. 100% of the proceeds are donated to charities.
The remaining Trivia Nights for 2026 will be on Aug. 20 and Nov. 19.
Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch support the Trivia Club in staffing the program. Special recognition and thanks go to Steve and Sherry Garvin, whose computer skills enhanced the game’s enjoyment!
