“Where there’s a will, there’s a way!” This has become the 2020 COVID-19 mantra of the Robson Ranch After Schoolers Club. Our mission is to support the teachers and staff members at our two adopted schools, Borman Elementary School and LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex. Because of the cancellation of the fall Community Garage Sale sponsored by the After Schoolers Club, funds are low, but we will find a way to accomplish our mission because “where there’s a will, there’s a way!”

During the week of Oct. 19, both schools were treated to specially designed trick or treat bags, personally designed by co-president and artist, Judy Riffel-Karr, and colored and decorated by the After Schoolers members. A variety of delightful Halloween treats were in each bag. The club also treated the school staff members to a pizza party, with funds donated by a very generous Robson Ranch resident who asked to remain anonymous. Many thanks to this anonymous donor.

Are you looking for a way to serve the Denton community? Come join the fun! Our meetings are on the second Friday of each month (September through June) at 10:30 a.m. in the clubhouse. Dues are $15. For more information, call our co-presidents Judy Riffel-Karr at 817-675-1262 or Nancy Burns at 214-403-5541.
