Get out your calendars. You will want to book time for The Home and Garden Show, which will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 28. The organizer of this show, Robson Ranch Women’s Club, donates the proceeds from this event to Our Daily Bread Together with Monsignor King Outreach Center.
In addition to the proceeds from the participating vendors, several area businesses and professionals are sponsors of the Home and Garden Show to help defray costs and contribute to our charity. When you come to the show, you will be able to talk with 55 to 60 vendors who have products or services that will improve our lives and our homes here at Robson. You can chat with landscape maintenance and design companies, companies that sell windows, shutters, screens, plant nurseries, kitchen and bath specialists, interior designers, plumbing companies, companies that focus on pet care, flooring specialists, and a whole raft of other companies that focus on home improvements. You can see a complete list of all vendors in the show posted on the Women’s Club website, www.rrwomensclub.org. Visit the show; it’s an easy way to do some research on what you can do to your home!
There are other dates to add to your calendar. If you want to participate in a raffle where the winner can choose between a Weber Spirit 3-315 3 burner gas grill that retails for $649.99 or a Traeger 22-Pellet Grill that retails for $599.99, donated by Justin Ace Hardware. You can drop by the clubhouse on the following dates from 9 to 11 a.m. to purchase raffle tickets: Aug. 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, and 20. The tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The winner of the grill will be chosen at the show.
So put Aug. 28 on your calendar. You will be inspired to refresh your home and, in turn, yourself.
While you have your calendar out, pencil in the Holiday Market for Oct. 23. You won’t want to miss this one either.
