The September get together for the Rock and Roll Martini Group was held at Carol and Ralph Jankowski’s home. The Rockers (members) and guests feasted on pulled chicken that the hosts provided. Everyone else filled in with appetizers and desserts. The music for the evening was the iconic rock band, The Animals. The Animals were an English rock band known for their gritty, bluesy sound. They were a part of the British invasion of the U.S. Rocker Carol Jankowski carefully crafted an Animals trivia contest that pitted the Rocker men against the “better looking” Rocker women. It was a close score with the Rocker men winning by one point thanks to music trivia expert, Rocker Barry Joyce. Everyone was dressed in some type of “animal attire.” The martinis for the evening were the “Puma Pineapple Martini” and “Anaconda Apple Martini.” No martini glasses or screen doors were harmed at the party. Until next month, Rock On!
