RRWGA’s A Night at the Casino

Virginia Wheeless

The Robson Ranch Women’s Golf Association (RRWGA) is excited to announce A Night at the Casino on Aug. 20, at the Robson Ranch clubhouse. This event will benefit Women Rock, a nonprofit organization in our community that strives to stop the spread of breast cancer through awareness and the early detection of breast cancer. Women Rock provides survivors and their families with financial support, encouragement, and hope through the course of treatment and beyond. Their goal is to break the cycle of late-stage breast cancer and the senseless loss of life. Many who find they have cancer do not have the resources to fight it. Breast cancer doesn’t have to take your mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, sons, fathers, neighbors, or you. If diagnosed early, the cure rate is 95%. A Night at the Casino is the charity event of the RRWGA Pink Golf Tournament, but you are not asked to play golf. Women in the RRWGA and Wildhorse Lady Niners will do that. You can join in the fun at the casino or donate to Women Rock.

Please join us to celebrate “Defeating Breast Cancer” at A Night at the Casino. Your $100 entry donation includes $1,000 casino cash (you can buy more), two drink tickets, and appetizers. There are prizes for the top three winning gamblers and silent and live auctions. Come join us for a night filled with jocularity and much fun. For tickets, call or text Mary Burke at 214-668-6718, Chris Root at 214-403-9554, Candy Mikulik at 817-223-3330, or Diane Reeve at 214-476-7231.

If you want to be a sponsor for this event or make a donation, please contact Mary Burke.

Festivities are from 6 to 10 p.m. You don’t want to miss this event.
