RRWGA’s Own 2021 Club Champion Competes in 2021 PGA Club Championship

Kerri Billingsley, the 2021 Robson Ranch Women’s Golf Association (RRWGA) Club Champion, has just returned from a national tournament competing in the 2021 PGA Club Championship – Senior Women’s Division Tournament in Palm Springs, Calif. The tournament was held on Dec. 4, 5, and 6 at Desert Willow Firecliff Course, Indian Wells Celebrity Course, and PGA West Stadium Course. Kerri, along with her caddie and partner Kelly Kay, just returned after three days of 54-hole stroke play, competing with an exclusive group of other amateur club champions. Kerri tied for an amazing 8th place out of 68 participants in the Senior Women’s division.

This is the second year of this tournament of amateur club champions, which is held at different courses all over the nation. Receiving an invitation to the PGA Club Championship is quite an honor, since the field is only made up of an exclusive group of club champions from nearly all 50 states. Public or private, small or large, all club champions from facilities with a PGA Professional and their families are welcome to attend the event. There were over 60 participants in all three divisions: Women’s Division Open, Senior Women’s (50-59 years of age), and Champions (60+ years of age) for this three-day event.

Congratulations, Kerri! What a representation for the Wildhorse Golf Club with a Top Ten finish!
