The Liberty Belles (women of the Robson Ranch Republican Club) have set aside the second Thursday of each month as Woman-to-Woman (W2W) Workdays. The Belles help out the W2W Pregnancy Center by volunteering in whatever capacity is needed, whether at the Pregnancy Center itself or at the Twice as Nice Resale Store at 413 E. Oak Street in Denton. Twice as Nice Resale of Denton is a thrift store that brings in necessary revenue to support the Pregnancy Center’s operating budget by selling clothes, toys, housewares, furniture, books, pictures, and jewelry that have been donated in good, clean condition. Robson Ranch residents have a history of generously donating used items to the store, and it is much appreciated!
In October the Belles, along with two new staff members from W2W, priced and stocked a variety of housewares. In November they sorted men’s and women’s clothing by condition, size, and color and put them out on the retail floor for purchase. There are many treasures to be found on the shelves and racks at the store. Shopping there is another way to support the organization.
