The Robson Photo Club workshops meet the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in Room 104 at the Creative Arts Technology Center. We have $10 dues to join and compete with contest images, as well as to support our general meeting monthly speakers. Workshop attendance is open for any Robson resident who is interested in anything that is camera related, regardless of what they own or understand, but have a desire to learn more about. To learn more about the Photo Club, please visit our website, rrphotoclub.org.

Our Sept. 13 meeting was hosted by Steve Simpson (club officer). Steve’s presentation main topic was “Using Your Mobile Phone as a Second Camera.” Steve offered an in-depth presentation on all aspects of mobile phone photography, as presented by Kelby One Video with Eric Kuna, that included computational photography, intention of use, and image capturing strategies.

Steve also made a live demo of his Android phone, highlighting the Google Pixel-Exclusive Editing software of the “Magic Brush” for instant removal of unwanted objects and use of capturing an image with Lightroom Mobile for more adjustments available for touching up an image.
