Dave Hintz

Welcome our new assistant pro, Dave Hintz. Dave is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America-Dallas and previously held positions at Glen Eagles Golf Club and at Oakmont here in North Texas. Much of Dave’s working career was with General Electric in Milwaukee and other places. Prior to that he served with the U.S. Air Force in Southeast Asia.
At Oakmont, Dave worked with junior golf and increased the membership from eight to 80 participants, making it the second largest Junior League in North America. They were successful in winning the North Texas State competition the last two years.
Dave is married to Ellen and combined they have six adult kids ranging down from age 51 along with grandkids and great grandkids.
Dave’s primary function will be to assist Craig Pullen in all aspects of his job with a heavy emphasis on administrative work, but he also will be available to provide lessons. His hours at the pro shop will not be fully determined until he gets through the current heavy learning stage of the job but expects it might be a traditional work day running from Tuesday through Sunday. Dave has been an active golfer nearly all of his life. He truly loves the game, looks forward to getting a handle on things here at Robson, and is optimistic about providing added value to our local golf experience.
