WLN Kicks Off the 2024 Season in Style

Wearing outfits chosen from the Pro Shop to highlight new golf fashions for spring, members of WLN and our golf professionals entertained the crowd.

Director of Golf Craig Pullen was a crowd favorite.

Joan Stewart envisioned the “High Tee” from the perspective of Alice in Wonderland and dressed as the White Rabbit.

As has become tradition, the Wildhorse Lady Niners (WLN) kicked off their new season with a luncheon and style show. This year’s theme was “High Tee.” Members were encouraged to decorate golf caps or visors for the event. Prizes were awarded to the top five hats chosen by attendees.

In addition to a lunch of soup, salad, and sandwiches, the group was entertained by members of the club and our Wildhorse golf professionals strutting their stuff. The models wore the latest in spring fashions from the Pro Shop. This year’s models included Joan Stewart, Marlene McNemar, Ruthie Santiago, Carroll French, Janet Bracken, Debbie Hinson, Teresa Prewit, Vicki Hackett, Tyler Clark, Stephen Zaudtke, and Craig Pullen.

Organizers for the luncheon and the style show were Danna Winiesdorffer and Dee Wallace, with the help of their highly creative and talented Social Committee: Dale McMichael James, Ann Ajimura, Tracy Hagerson, Deb Wegman, Gayle Lee, Susan Potter, Suzy Spangler, Vicki Hackett, Sharon Shea, and Penny Manzo.

The committee would like to thank Cindy Sterling and Connie Griswold for their help with choosing and coordinating the outfits featured in the style show.
