The Robson Ranch Women’s Club (RRWC) was chartered in August, 2002. It is organized as a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club to meet the pleasure and recreational needs of the women residents at Robson Ranch. Members have enjoyed trips to Austin, Gruene, Oklahoma City, Elephant Sanctuary, Dallas Arboretum, Presidential Library, shopping, and other tours and events. The ladies of the RRWC have given back to the Denton community by working together to raise well over $300,000 for numerous charities through fundraising events over the past 20 years. Membership has bounced back from the COVID-19 years and is currently almost 500.
The club meets the first Monday of the month (except for holidays—then it’s the first Tuesday) for lunch, a business meeting, and entertainment.
In recognition of this milestone anniversary, the community is invited to attend an Open House celebration on Sept. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the clubhouse. Read more on page 16.
