Join us on Monday, May 6. We will celebrate the spirit of Cinco de Mayo with Jason Hernandez and his mariachi band. They have been performing since 2021. There are six players in the band, all friends, and some are 5th generation players who were taught either by their parents or at school.
They will be playing a bass (called a guitarron), a five-string vihuela, two violins, one trumpet, and a guitar. The band has been very successful and plays at a variety of public and private venues in the DFW area.
Come join us for an afternoon fiesta, complete with an entertaining musical program, great food, great friendship, and a chance to meet new friends!
The May charity is the Denton Community Food Center.
Buffet: BYO (build your own) taco salad: mixed greens, seasoned ground beef, shredded cheese, black beans, roasted corn, diced tomatoes, diced onion, Fritos, sour cream, lime vinaigrette, salsa, ranch dressing, and tres leches cake
