It was a very lively start to the holiday season when the Dance Club held its “Turkey Swing! Shake Your Tail Feathers” dance on Nov. 13, in the Robson Ranch ballroom. Dancers filled up the dance floor with music provided by Freddy and the Falcons playing music from the Golden Age of Rock and Roll.
Guests were met at the door with a table decorated with silver pumpkins and fall foliage. Each table in the ballroom had a centerpiece with a straw pumpkin surrounded by a garland of leaves. The photo spot was filled with a fall scene.
A business meeting was held to elect new officers for the 2022 year. President: Amy Perry, Vice President: Diane Bivens, Secretary: Phyllis Ayers, and Treasurer: Jackie Killingsworth. The by-laws and Treasurer’s Report were approved.
The Dance Club thanks all the participants who support our dances. Many thanks go to our sponsors: Nothing Bundt Cakes, Henry Evans, Scott and Vicki Baker, and Jerry and Jackie Killingsworth. The lucky winners of the door prizes were Alfred Wright, Suzanne Wegener, Dan Benzine, Sheri Brown, and Catherine Roberson.
